Beginner orientation: 6:30pm
Contra Dance (aka Old Time Barn Dance): 7pm-10 pm
Join us for a lively evening of contra dancing, with mixers, waltzes, and other dances thrown in for variety. Two local bands, "112, and Then Some", and "The Sagebrush Stringband" alternate nights in providing snappy fiddlin' music. If you moved here from another community, come enjoy the lively music, cameraderie, and laughter, and get your dancing fix! We encourage first-timers to attend the 1/2 hour lesson starting at 6:30 pm. It is designed to give newcomers a basic primer on contra dance, and help the dance flow more smoothly throughout the evening.
